New Delhi: City police confirmed on Friday that four schools across Bengaluru had received a “threatening mail” on Friday afternoon warning them of a bomb inside their premises. Threatening messages received by various schools in the city state that there was a “very powerful bomb” in the building.
The police started searches.
On Friday, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Kamal Pant said four schools in the city had received bomb threats via email, and police teams at the site were conducting searches.
“Four schools on the outskirts of Bengaluru have received a bomb threat via email and the local police are investigating it,” Pant said. Speaking to reporters here, he said, there is training, and according to the bombing teams are going there to check.
Asked if anything was found on the site, the commissioner said, “Based on the email, our teams are checking there right away…when more information comes in, it will be shared with you (media).
