New Delhi. Today i.e. Sunday, on the Ajnala case, former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said, “Law and order is with Bhagwant Man, what is he doing?” The border of Punjab and East India is with Pakistan. If they can’t handle it properly, then Punjab will have to be handled by the central government.”

It is noteworthy that on Saturday itself, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that those who took the Sikh holy book Guru Granth Sahib as a shield to the police station cannot be called “heirs” of Punjab.

He further said, “The Chief Minister was with Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi on the day the Ajnala incident took place. He (Bhagwant Mann) is not interested in what is happening in Punjab. I think the prime minister is afraid to take action. No government can work like this, the way this government works. The police do what they are told, if they tell them not to do anything, what should they do?

On the other hand, supporters of pro-Khalistan Amritpal Singh attacked the Ajnala police station on Thursday for the release of Lovepreet Singh. His supporters also broke through the barricades here and created ruckus in the police station premises here last Thursday. During this, some supporters also had swords and guns in their hands.

At the same time, all these supporters demanded the release of Amrital Singh’s associate Lovepreet Singh alias ‘Toophan’. Let us tell you that Amritpal is often described as a supporter of Khalistan and he is also the head of an organization called ‘Waris Punjab De’. Amritpal Singh and his supporters also arrived in a vehicle carrying a copy of the Guru Granth Sahib to organize an ‘Amrit Sanchar’ (Sikh ceremony) at the police station.
