Nagpur. Due to the poor economic condition of the family, a well-educated youth became a bicycle thief. However, with the help of CCTV footage, the police caught him. The name of the accused is said to be Syed Ghufran Syed Nizam (26), a resident of Hydari Road Mominpura. Upon his report, the police found 8 stolen two-wheeled vehicles. The total value of the seized vehicles is said to be Rs 3,75,000. After stealing the vehicles, he sold them on OLX. According to information, Ajay Prasadilal Yadav (39), a resident of Surendragarh, Gitihaddan, kept his bicycle (MH-31/FH-5444) in the parking lot of Mayo Hospital. On February 20, around 1:30 p.m., someone stole his bicycle. He came with his wife to see his relative admitted to Mayo. As soon as he realized that the bike was stolen, he filed a case with the tehsil police.

Gufran adopted this method of theft because of the poor economic condition of the house. He has been stealing two wheelers for the last year. The accused targeted crowded places and went there with his two-wheeler and parked the vehicle next to the one he wanted to steal on the pretext that it had broken down. Then, with the help of a duplicate key, he stole the car and took it to his home. Later he went to the same place again and took his car.

The accused was seen on CCTV stealing a two-wheeler from Mayo. After getting the clue, the police followed him and reached his house. So far, 8 stolen two-wheelers have been found at his instance. Ghufran stole them from Tehsil, Ganeshpet and Mankapur police station areas. It is special that he changed the plates of the stolen vehicles and sold them on OLX. He sold one of the stolen vehicles in Kamati and the other in Bandara. Only at his home were found 3 bicycles.
