Sant Kabir Nagar District Sant Kabir Nagar District Jail was inspected by Legal Services Authority Secretary / Additional District and Sessions Judge Vikas Goswami. All the prisoners detained in the District Jail went to their barracks and talked with them and the health of the sick prisoners was reviewed and the arrangements made for the education of the juvenile prisoners were reviewed. Discussions were held with the teachers posted in the District Jail regarding the teaching work and the district administration was directed to correspond in case of any disruption in the teaching work. The computer training imparted under the Skill Development Mission in the District Jail was also reviewed. Some elderly prisoners admitted to the hospital reported ailments related to sciatica, arthritis, etc., for which the pharmacist was referred for necessary treatment. The food prepared in the kitchen was also inspected, and the prison guard was directed to pay particular attention to cleanliness and quality. During the inspection, the prison superintendent G.R. Verma, District Deputy Jailor Kamal Nayan Singh, Pharmacist D.P. Singh, Pharmacist Brijesh Srivastava, Senior Associate K.K. Pandey, Jailer Siddharth and Jaishankar, Mahesh Kumar of the authorities.
