Eleventh consecutive repo rate unchanged, inflation estimated at 5.7% MIGMG News

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday announced no change in the policy-based interest rate during the first monetary policy review meeting for the financial year 2023. RBI Governor Shakti Kant Das said in a press conference that the repo rate would remain at 4% and the reverse repo rate at 3.35%. This is the eleventh consecutive time that the RBI MPC has not changed interest rates.
