Federal Ministers: Final decisions will be made within the next 48 hours MIGMG News

Federal Ministers accompanying Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on his private visit to London held a press conference on Friday evening (late Friday Pakistan time) and said that final decisions on Pakistan’s political and economic future would be taken within 48 hours.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said the Pakistani people will be trusted.

PML-N leaders, including Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shahbaz and federal ministers from the PML-N, continued their deliberations in London on Friday for the third consecutive day.

After the meeting, Khawaja Asif told reporters that by Sunday they would be able to say something “final” about their discussions.

He said that all the details of the consultations will be presented to the allies because the PML-N was not in a position to take unilateral decisions because other parties are stakeholders as well.

He said that the PML-N had faced no pressure from anyone but the Pakistani people.

Earlier, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi told Sama TV that the economy is a more serious issue than the political situation in the country.

He said Imran Khan had destroyed the country’s economy and it would take years to revive it.

Abbasi said that the call for early elections is the prerogative of the prime minister.

Khawaja Saad Rafeeq, at the joint press conference, said that the government would not allow the “sedition” of Imran Khan to cause turmoil in the country, and that Pakistan would remain peaceful.

Rana Sanaullah said that only Farah Khan’s case was enough to arrest Imran Khan although the PTI chief is facing other allegations as well.

“When a person takes the law in his hand, the law will take them in his hand. We don’t want chaos in the country but Imran Khan is dividing the nation and even inciting sons to hate,” he said.

He said that the “propaganda” launched by PTI and Sheikh Rashid about a long bloodstained march is causing people unease. “He says people will burn them,” Sanaullah said, referring to a statement made by Sheikh Rashid. No one said he would set himself on fire.
