Within 10 days of the Pulwama terror attack on February 14, 2019 in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists were preparing to carry out another major suicide attack on Indian security forces. Former Chinar Corps Commander says that after the Pulwama attack, intelligence agencies, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Indian Army have intensified their operations and have been very successful in penetrating the network of terror organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed in South Kashmir.

He said that agencies are continuously working and gathering intelligence about the presence of a module of Jaish terrorists in Thorigam village where they were planning an attack.

The terrorists were wiped out in a joint operation by the army and the police.
Dhillon credited Deputy Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar Thakur of J&K Police in Kulgam for sharing information about the terrorists with the local Rashtriya Rifles (RR) unit and conducting the operation from the front with his men.
