The terrorists were wiped out in a joint operation by the army and the police.
Dhillon credited Deputy Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar Thakur of J&K Police in Kulgam for sharing information about the terrorists with the local Rashtriya Rifles (RR) unit and conducting the operation from the front with his men.
