An Assistant Commissioner (AC), Income Tax was abducted from near a bus terminal in Sukkur on Tuesday, TV channel 24NewsHD reported.
Ghulam Shabbir Sheikh was on his way home to Larkana from office when some armed men traveling in a car stopped his car on the Ring Road, put him in the car and sped away.
Stenographer Kamran Jamali and security guard Zainul Abideen also accompanied the AS on the occasion.
However, the kidnappers left behind both the stenographer and the guard.
The two men then went to Sajt police station and registered the case.
