New Delhi: The England cricket team defeated the Netherlands at their home ground in the recent ODI series. England lost 3-0 in a three-match series. England captain and wicketkeeper Jos Buttler was the hero of the series, scoring the most runs.

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s record was broken in this series. Seventeen years ago, in 2005, Dhoni hit 17 sixes in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. This record is now surpassed by Butler. Dhoni was the highest wicket-keeper in the ODI series with sixes. Butler hit two sixes more than Dhoni against the Netherlands.

Butler top-scored with 248 runs in the three-match series. Meanwhile, he hit 19 sixes and surpassed Dhoni’s record. Butler holds the record for most sixes by a wicketkeeper in an ODI series.
