SUKKUR: At least four people were killed and another injured when rivals traded fire in Bagurji area of Sukkur on Saturday.
The firing incident took place over an old land dispute between the Meher and Gumra communities in Bagurji police station premises. The police were informed by the nearby residents who came to the spot and started an investigation.
According to the details, four people lost their lives in the armed confrontation, and one was injured.
Due to firing, more than 100 students of Bagurji High School were under siege in the building due to continuous heavy firing from both sides.
According to police officials, they later safely evacuated the children from the school.
