Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara won the Car of the Year and SUV of the Year awards for the second year in a row at the Autocar Awards 2023 held in Mumbai on February 23.
Bajaj Pulsar N160 won the ‘Bike of the Year’ award.
Among the automotive industry leaders Rajesh Jeyurikar, Executive Director (Automobiles & Farms), Mahindra & Mahindra was honored as the ‘Person of the Year’.
Other notable honorees included the Hyundai Tucson, which won the Executive SUV of the Year award; Mahindra Scorpio N wins Off-roader of the Year Award; and the Tata Tiago EV won the Green Car of the Year award.
Poonam Mahajan, Member of Parliament, was the chief guest, while the judges were Khormazd Sorabjee, Editor of Autocar India; Narain Karthikeyan, former F1 racer; and automotive historian and restorer Manvendra Singh among others.
