According to the information so far, a fierce encounter took place between the Naxalites and the security forces in the Sukma area of ​​Chhattisgarh. This encounter is said to have taken place in Jagargunda district. In this encounter, the soldiers of the security forces gave a response befitting the Naxalites.
Let us inform you that on February 8 there was also an encounter between the security forces and the Naxalites at the Bijapur-Sukma border in Chhattisgarh. At the same time, firing from both sides continued after about 40 minutes. After this, seeing that the jawans were getting overwhelmed, the Naxalites fled from there. The aforementioned meeting took place in the area of ​​the Tarem police station.
It was then reported that Udham Singh of the banned Maoist organization CPI and other Naxalites were present in the forest of Gundam village. At the same time, during the search, around 5 pm, the Naxalites, who had already ambushed the Gundam, started firing. The Yavanas also responded to this.
At the same time, both sides fired for about 40 minutes. During this, seeing that the jawans were overwhelmed, the Naxalites escaped by taking advantage of the jungle and the darkness. After this, when the jawans started searching, explosive substances, detonators, Naxalite camp material and other daily use items were recovered from the spot.
