ISLAMABAD (Arslan Jat) National hockey player Shahida Raza (Chintu), who decided to become an immigrant in search of employment, died in a boat accident on her way to Italy.
Shahida Raza (Chintu) from Quetta represented the Pakistan women’s hockey team and was also a national footballer. Pakistan Hockey Federation and PHF Women’s Wing representatives Syeda Shehla Raza, Tanzila Amir Cheema and the hockey community expressed their condolences to their families.
The representative hockey player did not make the decision to become an immigrant due to constant worries about livelihood. The dream of a bright future was painted on the eyelids of national hockey player Shahida Raza, during her sea voyage, the boat capsized after hitting a mountain, and the national hockey player, including various foreigners on board, could not withstand the strong waves of the sea lost her life
Pakistan Hockey Women’s Wing Secretary Tanzilla Amir Cheema along with PHF officials and people associated with Pakistan Hockey have expressed deep grief over the sudden death of the national hockey player in an accident.
