Pakistan and Cambodia agree to intensify bilateral engagement MIGMG News

Islamabad (92 News) – Pakistan and Cambodia have agreed to intensify bilateral engagement and dialogue at all levels and to enhance cultural and people-to-people contacts.

This understanding was reached during a meeting between Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Regional Forum in Phnom Penh.

The Cambodian prime minister wanted to establish strong bilateral relations with Pakistan.

In his remarks, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari appreciated the friendly relations between the two countries and expressed Pakistan’s keen interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation.

The Foreign Minister also reiterated Pakistan’s continued support to Cambodia through the Technical Assistance Program.

He also expressed Pakistan’s keenness to further strengthen relations with ASEAN.
