Aurangabad: In the past few months, a report was presented to the ED’s office by the Ministry (Mantralaya) following an investigation into the tender process scam conducted by the Municipal Administration for the famous Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana of Aurangabad. No correspondence has been made by the Ministry with the Municipal Administration regarding the investigation initiated by the ED. This information was given by Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Choudhary while talking to reporters.
Notably, a case has been registered against 19 owners and partners, including three contractor firms, on the complaint of Aparna Tete, Deputy Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana tender scam to be conducted in the Municipal Corporation Area late Thursday night. The administration says in its complaint that the tenders were filled out by all three companies from the same laptop. This matter came to light after Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Choudhary scrutinized the tender. Namely, these tenders were uploaded by four companies from the same laptop. After the entire tender scam came to light, a case was registered late on Thursday evening against three contractor companies Samart Construction, Indo Global Infrastructure Services and Jaguar Global Services. After the administration’s strict steps, there is panic among the contractors who fill out tenders by ringing every job in the municipal administration.
Speaking to reporters after the exposure of Prime Minister Awas Yojana scam, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Choudhary said that the central government and the Prime Minister’s office have taken serious interference in the Prime Minister Awas Yojana tender process scam. When the ED officials contacted me and asked for my documents, they were clearly told to take the report copy and documents from them after taking permission as per ministry rules. After that, the inquiry report reached the ED office of the ministry. The ED office has not entered into any kind of correspondence with the Municipal Corporation regarding this scam till date.

The government established a commission for the complaints of public representatives
In response to a question, Municipal Commissioner Dr Chaudhary said that the people’s representatives of the city had complained to the government about the fraud in the tender process adopted by the Municipal Administration for implementing the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. Following a complaint by public representatives, the state government appointed a committee under the chairmanship of the Under Secretary of the Housing Department and ordered an inquiry. According to him, the Additional Secretary has formed two sub-committees for an in-depth investigation into the matter. These sub-committees after the investigation submitted their report to the Under Secretary of the Department of Housing. Based on this report, the Department of Urban Development instructed the Municipal Corporation to take criminal action in case of fraud in the tender procedure. Accordingly, in the tender process, the developers called and submitted all three tenders from the same portable device from a single IP address. Guidelines from professional legal experts have been taken for dealing with this issue. Municipal commissioner Dr. Chaudari gave information about registering the case against 19 directors of the three companies for his involvement in the tender.
More storage of all three companies will be examined
Municipal Commissioner Dr Abhijit Choudhary said the Municipal Corporation has set up a committee to look into the multi-storage building constructed at the Pune campus in a joint partnership by Samart Construction, Indo Global Infrastructure Char Services and Jaguar Global Services, the contractor companies involved in the tender scam. .is on. This committee will reach Pune and visit the multi-storied building constructed by the contractor and then submit a report based on that. After the report, action will be taken to blacklist those three companies.
