According to the report, the batteries of the generators installed to light the Gaddafi stadium were also stolen.
It should be noted that the Punjab government had demanded Rs 45 crore from the PCB for security and other expenses, which was rejected by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Matters between the PCB and the caretaker government of Punjab could not be resolved due to which the Pakistan Cricket Board decided to shift the matches from Lahore to Karachi.
