“Jail Baro Tehreek” Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also failed in Sargodha on Monday as only 70 party activists surrendered before the police, TV channel 24NewsHD reported.
The key PTI leadership of Sargodha division like former MNA Aamir Sultan Cheema and former provincial minister Muneeb Sultan Cheema did not want to present themselves for arrest before the police.
The police continued to issue statements, but the PTI leadership was not interested in the “Baro Tehrik Jail” and some of them even disappeared after handing over some PTI activists to the police. The police believe that the Baro Tehreek Jail PTI seems to be losing strength as none of the party leaders have voluntarily surrendered to the police.
It should be noted here that PTI started the drive on the instructions of its president Imran Khan.
The movement, however, received a lukewarm response from the PTI workers as very few workers turned up to surrender to the police.
