Former captain and head coach of the national cricket team Shahid Afridi congratulated Lahore Qalandar for winning the PSL 8 final.
In the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Shaheen Afridi-led Lahore Qalandars won the title for the second time yesterday by defeating Multan Sultans by one run. At the same time Asia Lions defeated India Maharaja in the Legends League. They qualified for the finals by elimination from the tournament.
Shoaib Akhtar shared the video of Shahid Afridi on social networking site Facebook and demanded that under the leadership of Shaheen Afridi, Lahore should win the title, to which Afridi replied that congratulations, now we have to win the final as well.

He jokingly said that Shaheen challenged us by winning the title, I have all the old guns, but they all work. To which Shoaib Akhtar looked at Misbah-ul-Haq and asked why he was not sent to bat in the match yesterday? To which Shahid replied that he is a hard-time player and when things are going well, he is sent off.
