New Delhi: The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Ashish Mishra, an accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri case, for 8 weeks. Ashish Mishra is the son of Union minister Ajay Kumar Mishra and is accused of running several farmers to death with a car.

The Supreme Court reserved the decision while hearing Ashish Mishra’s bail plea on an earlier date. The Supreme Court said that it is not right to keep someone in jail until the job is done. It should be noted that Ashish has been in jail for over a year.

The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Ashish Mishra for 8 weeks with conditions. He has been given a condition that Ashish is not allowed to enter UP except after hearing the case in the primary court. Apart from this, he will have to give the address and the relevant police station to the court.

According to the report, the Supreme Court has made disclosures in the Lakhimpur case and has issued an order to release all the other accused on bail. The Supreme Court said it would monitor the matter itself. The Court of First Instance should submit the necessary information to the Supreme Court after each hearing. The next hearing on this matter will be held in the Supreme Court on March 14. The Supreme Court in its ruling said that Ashish Mishra cannot stay not only in UP but also in Delhi during the interim bail period.
