Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister and state president of the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) K Chandrasekhar Rao will address a public meeting at Kandar Loha in Maharashtra on March 26. Several regional leaders of other parties, including the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), are likely to join the BRS in this public meeting.

Former MLA and NCP leader Shankaran Donge, another former MLA Nagnath Gisevad and several other leaders reportedly met Rao in Hyderabad on Tuesday and expressed their desire to join the BRS. According to a statement issued by the BRS on Tuesday, Dongge and other leaders discussed with Rao the policies of the BRS and its plans for the future.
Rao, popularly known as KCR, had earlier addressed a public meeting in Nanded in Maharashtra in February. This was the first public meeting of the BRS outside Telangana. (agency)
