Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rahman took the oath before the provincial cabinet in a simple but gentle ceremony at the governor’s house, the ceremony was also attended by Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, congratulating the provincial ministers who were sworn in.
Chaudhry Parviz Elahi said the provincial ministers will perform their duties well. It is hoped that the ministers of the region will work day and night to serve the people and fulfill their expectations.
He said that the ministers will spare no effort in serving the people. Our business focuses on the welfare of the poor. All possible measures will be taken to provide comfort to the common man.
Punjab Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervez Ilahi allocated the portfolios of the appointed ministers. Mian Aslam Iqbal got the Ministry of Housing and Industries, and Abbas Shah the Ministry of Forests and Wildlife. Sardar Mohsen Leghari was assigned the finance department, while Taimur Malik got the sports and culture department.
By changing the ministry of Raja Bisharat, he was assigned to manage the cooperative and the prosecution. Raja Yasir Humayun has a higher education and information technology, work Niazi, and Munib Shima for transportation. Livestock was handed over to Shehab El-Din, school education to Murad Ras and Health Department to Dr. Yasmine Rashid.
Khurram Wark was assigned the task of law and parliamentary affairs, Hashim Dogar was assigned to manage the affairs of the house and prisons, and Asif Nagai was assigned to manage the excise. Communications and works were handed over to Ali Sahi, Finance Department to Nawabzadeh Mansur Ali Khan, Agriculture to Hussain Jahanian Gardizi and Social Care to Ghaznifar Abbas Shaina.
Latif Nazir was awarded the Department of Mines and Minerals, Hasnain Bahadur Darshak, the Department of Energy and Food, and Mian Mahmoud Al-Rasheed, was awarded the Department of Local Government.
