The meeting of the National Supreme Committee chaired by the Prime Minister, reviewing the state of peace and order in the country

Islamabad (92 News) A meeting of the National Supreme Committee was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in which the military and civilian leadership participated.

The National Supreme Committee meeting reviewed the law and order situation in the country, a briefing was given on the recent terrorism in Peshawar and Karachi. The implementation of the National Action Plan was also discussed.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said after the meeting that we made important decisions related to the implementation of the National Action Plan. Our forces fought the terrorists bravely.

Speaking after the Supreme Committee meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that economic stability is not possible without political stability, political stability comes first in every way. A political party did not attend the meeting despite being invited. Their effort is to fix things on the street. Unfortunately, we are sitting in this room and part of it is on the streets.

He further said that we should leave ego and preferences aside and think about the interest of the state. Forced to accept tough IMF conditions, the Allies made difficult decisions with their policies at stake.

Before the Supreme Committee meeting, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and DGISI Lt. Gen. Nadeem Ahmed Anjum met the Prime Minister and the law and order situation was discussed. The Army Chief briefed the Prime Minister on the border situation while the DGISI was on a visit to Afghanistan.
