Pratapgarh (Tarun Mitra), Minister of State for Women Welfare, Child Development and Nutrition, Pratibha Shukla, as Chief Guest at Dialogue and Nutrition Kit/Laptop/Prize Distribution Program with Anganwadis, Self Help Group and Rural Women at Saket College Join In the beginning observed the competitive Rangoli program organized in Saket College premises and felicitated the students and women who performed excellent Rangoli by giving prizes. He then inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp in the auditorium of Sackett College. During this valedictorian song was presented by the girl students of Saket College. During the programme, the minister interacted with women leaders, women self-help groups, women police officers, Anganwadi workers, Anganwadi assistants, Asha Bahu and sports competition children, listened to their problems and also expressed their views.
On this occasion, Minister for Women Welfare, Child Development and Nutrition and Sadar MLA Rajendra Kumar Maurya distributed laptops to 17 children under the UP Chief Minister’s Child Service Scheme, 13 girl students who excelled in hockey matches, 10 girl students excelled in volleyball and demo checks and medals were distributed to 08 female students who excelled in Kabaddi competition and 02 female students who excelled in Judo. During the program, the Minister of Child Development and Nutrition organized babies for 05 pregnant women, food grains for 05 children, golden ask for children, distribution of nutrition kits to 10 severely malnourished children and 01 malnourished child guardian of Krishna.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State Pratibha Shukla said that it is the Chief Minister’s intention that women remain empowered, imbued with the spirit of self-reliance under Shakti Mission, are safe and their health is good. Women should never consider themselves weak, women should do their own work and not depend on others, we can set some new record in the society only by awakening self-confidence. The women of the villagers should perform their duties well, listen to the problems of the women and make them benefit from the schemes of the government. The peasant woman must become a smart head. Women should feed their children with clean and fresh food so that the children stay healthy. He told the Anganwadi workers that the Anganwadi centers should be opened daily and run like a pre-nursery. It is the responsibility of the Anganwadi workers to administer rites to every child who comes to the Anganwadi center. He said that parents should pay special attention to their children and must give quality education to their son and daughter.
MLA Sadar Rajendra Kumar Maurya, Chief Development Officer Isha Priya, CO City Subodh Gautam and other speakers expressed their views in the programme. During this, a mesmerizing song about de-addiction was presented by student Saifiya Bano. BJP District President Hariom Mishra along with Shyam Sundar Tau and Saket Girls PG College Manager Arvind Srivastava and officials concerned were present on the occasion.
