Nagpur. Thieves looted Rs 10.38 lakh including the safe by breaking into an office in Nehru Nagar area under Sakardara police station area. The police registered a case on the complaint of Prakash Ramdas Kole (47), a resident of Jawahar Nagar. Kole’s PR at Itankar Bhavan in Nehrunagar. There is an office called Traders. Some are product distributors and also lend money.
On Saturday evening, an employee named Rahul Mangalkar (39), who was working at his institute, went home after locking the office. Meanwhile, the unknown accused broke the locks of the main door. He got inside by breaking the canal gate. By breaking the lock of the cabinet from the office, he tore open the safe built inside. He fled with the money along with the safe. Kole found out about the theft on Sunday evening. He informed the police.
Sakardara police arrived on the spot. After an investigation, a case was registered against the unknown defendant. The police scanned the footage from the video surveillance cameras installed in the premises. In it, two suspicious youths are seen taking the safe from the office. So far, his identity has not been found.
