Woman gang-raped at Delhi railway station, 4 accused arrested MIGMG News

New Delhi: A 30-year-old woman was gang-raped by two railway employees inside the electrical maintenance staff room of a Delhi railway station on Thursday night. Delhi Police have arrested four accused railway employees in the case after recording information about the gang rape incidents.

The four railway employees of the electrical department accused in the case have been identified as Satish Kumar (35), Vinod Kumar (38), Mangal Chand Meena (33) and Jagdish Chand (37), DCP (Railroad) Harendra Singh.

All the four accused were arrested within two hours after the FIR was recorded and the accused were brought before the Delhi Court. Singh said the defendants were sent to judicial custody for 14 days.

“We received a call on July 22 around 3:27 am in which the woman claimed that she had been raped by two men inside a room at a railway station. “During the investigation, we found that the accident occurred inside a train-lit hut.”
