On February 26, the Yavatmal Crime Squad was on the premises of Wani Police Station to collect information about criminals related to illegal business and property. At that time, the Crime Branch team received a tip-off that cattle were being illegally loaded into vehicles and taken to the slaughterhouse via Warora, Wani, Mukutban road towards Adilabad. As soon as this news was received, the crime branch team put up a roadblock at Gonsa Fateh junction around 9 pm. At this moment, along with stopping the pick-up vehicle that was coming at high speed, with the help of police officers, five other vehicles that were coming from behind were stopped. During the inspection of the vehicles, the bulls in each vehicle were brutally tied with ropes without provision of fodder and water. Saurabh Nagrale, a resident of Rajur Colony, who was illegally carrying liquor in two white bags from a moped bearing number MH 29 BA-1928, was detained at Rasa premises in Wani Tehsil while returning home after taking the said action. Four boxes of village liquor and a vehicle were taken from him along with goods worth 43 thousand 440 rubles.
