New Delhi: Rebel Shiv Sena MLA Deepak Kesarkar, who is currently in Guwahati with Eknath Shinde Camp, in an exclusive interview with India forward He said the rebel MLAs would not return to Mumbai before the ground test. “We are very confident and cannot be ruled out by the Uddhav Thackeray faction,” he added.
“We will go to the assembly directly to prove our majority,” Kesarkar added.
Speaking about allegations of secession from Shiv Sena, the NCP and Congress that the BJP is putting pressure on MLAs through the use of investigative agencies, the rebel MLA said that MLAs in Guwahati are not under any pressure. “We are not satisfied with the alliance of Uddhav Thackeray and Shiv Sena with the NCP.”
Claiming that the BJP is the natural ally of Shiv Sena, he said, “I don’t understand why Shiv Sena has separated from the BJP and formed an alliance with the NCP and Congress, despite the request of the MLAs to move forward with the BJP”. NCP Chairman Sharad Pawar has also been accused of breaching Shiv Sena.”
